AGT Appeals Board Meeting Notes

Wilton, CT - July 28, 2006 | The AGT Appeals board met today to hear three separate appeals. One from Jorge Diaz, Jr. (PR) regarding his fine and suspension from AGT from incidents at the 2005 Ponce Grand Prix. The second appeal was from Jordan Bupp (USA) regarding being underweight at Kershaw, the first race of the 2006 season. The third appeal involved Edison Lluch Sr (PR), the current AGT points leader, for being underweight at Lime Rock on July 1, 2006.

The appeals board denied the appeals for Lluch and Bupp based on the fact the scale logs showed both cars underweight on two or more weighings. In the matter of Jorge Diaz Jr. (PR) the appeals board asked for more information.

The AGT office will be closed until August 8th, 2006.
