11/30/2006 - Lluch Father and Son to Vie for AGT Championship

SANTO DOMINGO, D.R. (Nov. 30, 2006) – Edison Lluch, the veteran sports car racer from Puerto Rico, has one thing standing between him and a second consecutive American GT Challenge series championship.

When the series holds its final race of the season this weekend at the 1.6-mile Autodromo Las Americas here the only driver expected to compete that still has a mathematical chance to beat Lluch for the championship will be his son, Edison Jr.

11/30/2006 - SPEED to Carry AGT Race in Dominican Republic

SANTO DOMINGO, D.R. (Nov. 30, 2006) – The American GT Challenge announced today that its 2006 season finale, to be held this weekend at the Autodromo Las Americas, will be recorded and broadcast to an international audience by the SPEED Channel.

The Santo Domingo race will be taped by Jim Robinson and Associates. The company has produced CASCAR races for SPEED.

11/28/2006 - Autódromo Las Américas Prepares for American GT

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – The trailers and cars are already at Autódromo Las Américas for the final race of the AGT Inter-Americas Cup Challenge. Tomorrow, Wednesday November 29 at noon the press conference will kick the official ceremonies for the seventh and last round of the AGT 2007 Season.

11/16/2006 - Westernbank Ponce Grand Prix

Detroit - November 13 2006 - In his typical low-key fashion, Stu Hayner, driving the #29 www.visitponce.com Ford Mustang owned by Woodson Duncan, stunned the American GT field at the El Tuque Race Park this Sunday in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The event, part of the American GT Inter-Americas Challenge, was comprised of two main events run concurrently Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon. Continue »
