AGT Inter-Americas Challenge

On March 3 & 4, the ground will be pounding at El Tuque Ponce, PR with the celebration of The AGT Round 1, the Ponce Pre-Grand Prix. This international event will have teams from the USA, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico all trying to win the Inter-Americas Cup. From the USA Frank Cioppettini in his Victoria Motorsports Camaro, also from the USA the father and son team of Kenny and Jordan Bupp, in their respective Hamilton Safe Corvette and Camaro. From the DR, Luis Tomas Mendez, who will day view his new Jaguar. Manem Mendez in the Westernbank Camaro, who won the first heat of the PGP 2006 and the weekend at the Las Americas 2006, wants to take the title to DR this year. From PR Edison LLuch in Coors Light Corvette wants to have a good start and try to retain his title as the Inter-Americas Champion for another year. Also part of Lajas Racing is Edison Lluch Jr. in the Don Q Rum Corvette who is aiming to take the title from his father, after finishing Runner Up 2006 and rookie of the year. Another PR favorite is the EL Nuevo Día Ford Mustang driven by Roly Falgueras, winner of the Ponce Grand Prix del 2005 and also aiming for the 2007 title.
