AGT Changes Management

Wilton, CT. (March 30, 2007) Woodson Duncan, founder of American GT has withdrawn from the management and operation of the International Series. The new management is lead by Tony Febles, the Series COO since 2006. Febles was instrumental in delivering a great 2006 season. He is the right choice to take the series to the next level. Duncan will still enjoy racing the series now and then, without the stress of managing it as well. When asked what brought this decision on his part, Duncan said, “I would like to dedicate more time to my family”. He later added, “Also, this will give me a chance to enjoy racing my car whenever I get a chance to go racing”. “Duncan will remain as an advisor for the series.” Febles commented, “His (Duncan) insight is always good and his advice is excellent”
There will be minor changes in AGT; in general most of them in the season schedule, the rules and competition committee will stay the same, for 2007. “We have already started the season, we do not want to make changes to the rules at this point”, Febles said.
The next race of the season will be at Mosport, Canada (www.Mosport.com) May 19-20, where AGT will be the feature event of the Victoria Day Race weekend. AGT and Mosport have already started working on this event and it promises to be a great race weekend. “The fans in Canada really make you feel appreciated; they really enjoy these ground pounding cars and the close competitive racing, AGT brings”, Febles added.
