New Entry Options for AGTRRA Races
(April 9, 2007) As part of the changes in the new management of AGTRRA, there will be new options for entries starting with the Mosport Victoria Day Race. “The idea is to give more options to all those grassroots GT1 teams out there in order to allow them battle it out with the AGT teams” said Tony Febles COO of AGTRRA. “With the new options for AGTRRA races, teams interested in doing just the regional races instead of the whole championship could become members for a single event.” Febles added. Now teams could register for championship points and prize money, for prize money without points or for bragging right only.
This is some of the feedback AGT is getting from the grassroots team. “We want to make sure that they (the GT1 teams) understand that we are listening to them and paying attention.” Febles commented. AGTRRA will also offer a discount for entries and memberships paid two weeks in advance of the events, to help keep the cost down and speed the process of registration and tech at the track, allowing for more track time.
