Victoria’s Day Speedfest at Mosport International on the Books

(May 29, 2007) – AGTRRA Round #2 Victoria’s Day Speedfest at Mosport, Canada is officially on the books and was a very close race; the margin of victory of the first heat was a little over a 100/1000 of a second. Reverse starting the second heat made for a great and very competitive racing. Unfortunately we did not get all the cars to Canada that we were expecting and some that made it could not start due to one difficulty or another.
“Now we need to look to the future of the series. The immediate one is the race at the Glen in a couple of weeks (June 15-17).” Explained Tony Febles. “We got a lot of interest for that race and some teams from 2006 that are rejoining the series with new cars, like Dave Machavern, with a new Corvette, Jerry Lustig, with a Corvette and Mark Shaffer with a Mustang. In the not so near future we are working for the 2008 season, the schedule, the track, the sponsors, etc. As usual we will keep you posted in all the new and exciting things coming our way.” He later added
“We would like the opportunity to thank each and every one of you, who have helped and supported the series, helping us grow” Febles mentioned
