Jrs Faster Than Srs Friday At The Glen
Watkins Glen, NY (June 15, 2007) – Edison Lluch Jr and Sr. as well as Jordan and Kenny Bupp were the fastest AGT teams for Round 3 on Friday practice session at the Watkins Glen International. Edison Jr in the Coors Light Corvette, who sweep Round 2 at Mosport Canada, was the fastest AGT car at the track followed by his father in the 72 Don Q Corvette. Jordan and Kenny Bupp – another father and son team- in the Hamilton safe cars were third and fourth respectively.
This is the first time in AGT that the younger driver of both teams are faster than their respective father. “Well even thou the young engineer from Lajas is still young, his son is younger” Expressed Edison Lluch Sr. after seeing the lap time. “However the weekend is just starting we will see what happens on Sunday” Lluch added.
