07/01/2007 - Skavnes Aiming To Extend His Winning Streak To AGT

(July 1, 2007) – Kris Skavnes (left in the above picture) has his sight set on Nashville Superspeedway for Round 04 of the American GT Road Racing Association Inter-Americas Challenge. Skavnes, who has won his last two starts in the ST class of Grand-Am, will be driving the new Luna Sueño Z06 Corvette with team owner Jerry Lustig in the Superspeedway event “Nashville Under the Lights” set for July 6th and 7th, 2007. “The Luna Sueño Corvette will be at Nashville, and Kris Skavnes just let me know that he’ll be available to hound that young engineer from Lajas”, expressed team owner Jerry Lustig. Skavnes added, “I just love those ‘rovals’ – combination of road and oval courses- It’s going to be fun!” Even thou this is the third consecutive year of this great event promoted by the American V-8 Supercar Series, in the Tennessee track, it is the first night race ever for AGTRRA. “It will be very exciting to see this ground pounders at over 160MPH in the Nashville Superspeedway under the lights” said Tony Febles, AGTRRA COO.
