(September 4, 2007) – Simon Gregg will be driving the 59 Corvette of Derhaag Motorsports in Round 6 of the Inter-Americas Challenge at Roebling Road Raceway this upcoming weekend. Even thou Jim Derhaag and Simon Gregg are long time race veterans this will be the first time for them in an AGT event. “We are looking forward to have a team of this caliber competing with us.” expressed Tony Febles, AGTRRA COO. “Hopefully we could get more of the former TA teams to come out of the side lines and join us for the fun.” added Febles.
Simon Gregg finished a very respectable third –out of a 30 car field- in the June Sprints last June at Road America to Tony Ave first and Phil Simms second. Ave and Simms were also TA regulars and have shown interest in competing in AGTRRA events, but schedule and other conflicts have made it impossible for them to participate so far.
